Roger Carel (1927-2020) was a french actor and the voice of Woody Woodpecker (in the old cartoons when Guy Piérauld was unavailable) and Buzz Buzzard (and miscellanous characters) in The New Woody Woodpecker Show.
He was also famous for voicing Asterix, Jiminy Cricket (on Disney's Pinocchio along with Mark Lesser), C3PO, Alf, Kermit, Winnie The Pooh, Benny Hill, Kaa from The Jungle Book and many characters...
